Veterinarians are considered essential businesses, and as such, DeWitt Animal Hospital will remain open through the pandemic. However, as COVID-19 continues to spread, to help ensure the health and safety of our clients and staff, please follow these guidelines for visits to DeWitt Animal Hospital:
Before leaving home, anyone displaying fever, cough, or shortness of breath or anyone who has traveled in the last 14 days must CALL AHEAD to discuss the situation. Upon speaking, we may ask you to reschedule your appointment following an appropriate quarantine period or find someone else to bring your pet to receive care. You can reach us during normal business hours at: (315) 446 1200.
Upon arriving, pull into our parking lot and call us at (315) 446 1200. Advise the team member taking the call of your parking space number, and CREDIT CARD information for billing.
WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING CASH OR CHECKS AT THIS TIME!
A masked staff member will come out to greet you and escort your pet into the facility for care while you wait in your vehicle. If necessary, the veterinarian will come out to your vehicle to discuss any findings or recommendations. Once the visit is complete, any discharge instructions, prescriptions and invoices will be discussed at your vehicle.
Social distancing is our top priority, and we appreciate your cooperation with these changes to keep our staff, clients, and pets safe!
Welcome to the family!
